Spectral is pleased to announce that as of October 17, 2013, the company has been acquired by Andor Technology plc of the UK. Spectral looks forward to continuing to provide instruments and services to its valued customers with the added support of the Andor Team.
NEOSSat, the Near-Earth Object Surveilance Satellite, Canada's latest microsat, was successfully launched from India on February 25, 2013. Congratulations to all of the partners and scientists involved. Spectral built and tested the payload instrument, designed to search for near earth asteroids and geosynchronous satellites.
